About Dr Janine Silberbauer

Dr Janine Silberbauer is a qualified General Medical Doctor with a special interest in Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine. She has a background in biological research and holds a genetics master’s degree.

She is fully registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and is a member of the Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine Society of South Africa (AAMSSA).

After completing her master’s degree in Genetics with distinction at the University of Pretoria in 2011, Dr Silberbauer attended the graduate entry medical programme at the University of the Witwatersrand obtaining a degree in medicine and surgery in 2014. She completed her internship and community service years at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital and the Hillbrow Community Health Centre. In 2018 she assisted general surgeons in private practice and worked at False Bay District Hospital in the Western Cape. She joined the Health with Heart Family and Corporate Practice in Sandton in 2019 where she works in primary care and employee health.

For Dr Silberbauer, the most rewarding part of her work is helping people feel healthy, strong and confident. She encourages her patients towards long term well-being through a balanced lifestyle and enjoys boosting her patients’ confidence with aesthetic medicine by respecting a person’s unique features and natural beauty. She is committed to excellent evidence-based holistic care and continues to update her knowledge and experience with ongoing training, workshops and congress meetings.
